Justice40 Communities Task Force Meeting - Three

Group of people gathered around tables for meeting

May 7, 2024

This is the third meeting of SEMCOG’s Justice40 Communities Task Force, which works concurrently with the national commitment to Environmental Justice, and will advance the region’s underserved and underinvested communities through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Incorporating equity is a deliberate component of SEMCOG’s planning and implementation work. This task force will ensure all voices and communities are heard in regional planning and initiatives. Through this task force, SEMCOG will connect Justice40 communities to resources for which they are eligible and provide a space for collaboration and sharing of opportunities, challenges, and successes.

This third meeting will focus on SEMCOG’s Water Resiliency and sustainability opportunities with presentations on Shared Prosperity initiatives and a kick-off of the FY 2024-2025 Legislative Platform. This meeting will be hosted in-person at SEMCOG. A detailed agenda will be shared in advance of the meeting.
