May 9, 2024 Help us kick off the Commuter Challenge in Downtown Detroit, Cadillac Square. Enjoy free Detroit Water Ice, enter a raffle for a $50 Visa gift card, grab some swag all while learning about your green travel options. The Commuter Challenge begins May 1! It’s a month long competition that encourages Southeast Michigan residents to try a green commute during the month of May. Single passenger drivers are encouraged to try a new method of travel to work (carpool, bus, vanpool, bike, walk, or work from home) during the month of May, and participants are eligible for great prizes. By reducing the miles we drive alone, we reduce air pollution in Southeast Michigan. For registration assistance, email SEMCOG at register@semcog.org.
